- It was a back-and-forth affair, but Conant defeated St. Viator 59-48 on Saturday to win the St. Viator Thanksgiving Torunament. Cougars sealed their victory in the fourth quarter on a free throw from Brandon Vinson. Both Conant and St. Viator finished the tournament with 2-1 records. The Cougars win over the Lions is the tiebreaker.
- Conant trailed early, and were losing 30-27 by the half, only to come back with a vengeance in the final two quarters. Conant put up 19 points in the final quarter on the strength of a 12-2 run, increasing their lead late in the game.
- Jimmy Sotos was the front runner for Conant's offense with 16 points, including four during the fourth period. He also contributed four rebounds.
- Two other players also racked up double digit scores for Conant. Ryan Davis scored 13 points and Vinson had 11 points. Ben Schols notched three three-pointers and scored nine points total. Also contributing for Conant were Mike Downing 6 points, 3 rebounds), Chima Oduocha (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block), and Tony Ziccardi (2 points, 1 rebound). Davis was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up eight rebounds.
- Conant finished the game with 32 rebounds (12 offensive / 20 defensive) and two blocks.

Cougars defeat Highland Park
Ryan Davis's 17 points propelled Conant to a 54-44 victory over Highland Park on Thursday to improve their record to 1-1.
- On the heels of an 11-0 run, Cougars led 24-15 at the half.
- Davis led Conant's offense with 17 points, including seven during the first period. He also contributed six rebounds and one block.
- Mike Downing achieved double digits, scoring 10 points for Conant (5-for-5). Brandon Vinson (13 points) and Ben Schols (6 points) each had multiple three-pointers. Also contributing for Conant were Kyle Bradley (5 points, 1 rebound) and Jimmy Sotos (3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block).
- Conant finished the game with 23 rebounds (9 offensive / 14 defensive) and seven blocks.
Cougars fall to Prospect
- In a great showing, Jimmy Sotos scored 17 points, but this was not enough as Conant fell to Prospect 44-43. On a free throw from Frankie Mack, Prospect sealed their victory in the fourth quarter.
- At the end of the first half, Cougars led 26-21 on the strength of an 11-3 run. But this wasn't enough to overcome Prospect's 24 points in the final two quarters of the game.
- Sotos paved the way for Conant, making 62.5 (5-for-8) of shots attempted while also sinking 87.5 (7-for-8) of free throws attempted.
- Also contributing for Conant were Ryan Davis (8 points, 5 rebounds), Mike Downing(8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), Ben Schosl (5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals), and Chima Odoucha(2 points, 5 rebounds).
- Conant finished the game with 30 rebounds (11 offensive / 19 defensive), 1 block and 5 steals.
