- Conant emerged victorious 60-37 against Rolling Meadows on Tuesday in the Conant Regional Semi Final on the strength of Jimmy Sotos, who scored 23 points. The Cougars will Friday night in the Regional Championship versus the winner of Palatine and Elk Grove who will play Wednesday night.
- Following a 21-5 run, Cougars commanded a 31-20 lead at the end of the first half.
- Sotos had a great game from the field, making 80% (8-for-10) of shots attempted as well as 100% (4-for-4) of threes attempted. He also shot well from the line, making 43% (3-for-7) of free throws attempted.
- Ben Schols hit four three-pointers and scored 12 points total. Also contributing for Conant were Mike Downing (9 points, 5 rebounds), C.J. Deshazer (5 points, 2 rebounds), Brandon Vinson (5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), Ryan Davis (4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block), and Chima Oduocha (2 points, 2 rebounds).
- Conant finished the game with 27 rebounds (8 offensive / 19 defensive), one block and six steals.
The Cougars improved their record to 20-6.
